Uncle and nephew cats offered together in Novosibirsk
The animals were rescued from an empty house in a private housing area.
Novosibirsk volunteers are looking for one home for two adult cats. It turned out that, in human terms, the pets are uncle and nephew to each other.
«Felix and his sister — Mickey’s mother — were abandoned in a private housing area after the sale of a run-down little house. And Mickey was born already homeless around November 2023. We took many cats from there; some have already found homes. And when Felix and Mickey met at the same foster home, they immediately formed a very warm friendship. They constantly play only with each other, sleep cuddled up, and it would be a pity to separate them», — said the cats’ coordinator Evgeniya.
The cats spend nearly all their time together, playing and sleeping side by side.
The cats have slightly different personalities and habits. Evgeniya says that Felix likes to be held but doesn’t allow his belly to be touched. Mickey also likes being in arms, often rubs his face against your face, and he gladly plays with teaser toys.
Felix has been diagnosed with leukemia, and Mickey is vaccinated against this disease. Future owners will need to keep up with annual vaccination to protect the healthy cat.
Both cats are litter-trained, treated for parasites, vaccinated, and neutered.
