In Perm, a home is being sought for a toothless cat named Kuzya. His owner had to give him to the «Schastlivy Khvost» shelter after learning she had cancer.

Kuzya is 6–7 years old and originally came to Perm from Chernushka in Perm Krai. He lived for a long time with a loving owner who rescued him from the street along with another cat, Timosha. When the woman discovered she had cancer, she contacted the shelter out of concern for her pets. Darya, the manager of «Schastlivy Khvost», told 59.RU that the woman lived only a couple more months after surrendering the cats. She recently passed away.

Kuzya is a well-groomed and large cat. Volunteers note that he was initially somewhat shy but ate regularly, used the litter box, and completed quarantine. Once Kuzya acclimated and allowed a proper examination, it was found that his teeth were in very poor condition — they had to be removed. The cat can live with other cats or as the only pet.

The shelter confirms that Kuzya is neutered, vaccinated, and treated. He eats high-quality food and uses a litter box with wood pellets effectively. If you are interested in adopting Kuzya, please contact the «Schastlivy Khvost» shelter group.

Previously, we reported that a very fidgety cat in Perm is also seeking a home — she broke her carrier and hid from volunteers under the ceiling.
