In the Perm shelter «Murcot», a chocolate British shorthair cat named Fima has been living for two weeks. She ended up in the shelter because at home she was constantly bullied by an older cat. The owners chose to keep him and surrendered Fima to the shelter.

The director of the «Murcot» shelter, Natalia Vodoleeva, told 59.RU that the purebred Fima lived with a young couple for five years.

«The cat was loved, but life turned in such a way that the people had to take in their elderly mother, who had an older cat,» the interlocutor shared. «The cat was used to being the only favorite, so he bullied Fima a lot. He literally beat her up, as the cat«s owners told me. She was always stressed.»

For six months, the owners tried various ways to reconcile the cats, but the fluffy ones couldn«t get along: the elderly bully was relentless and constantly beat the young neighbor.

Due to stress, Fima developed cystitis. The cat lived under the sofa all the time.

«The owners made a difficult decision: to find a new home for the young cat where she can live peacefully,» Natalia noted. «Fima is very affectionate, loves to be petted. She is afraid to sit on laps. She is also wary of new people at first.»

Fima is a young British shorthair cat. She is five years old. Spayed. Litter-trained.
