Perm clerk seeks homes for kittens
Our reporter stopped into a small stationery shop in central Perm and saw a notice on the product counter: kittens available to good homes, with a phone number attached. We asked the salesperson who was finding homes for the adorable kittens. It turned out to be him.
Alexey said the kittens were born to a cat that wandered in mid-summer onto their country plot in Kultaevo (Perm Krai, near Perm).
The family decided to spay the cat. They booked her with a veterinarian for 17 August, but didn’t make it — on 15 August the cat delighted her new owners by giving birth to three kittens. Alexey’s mother kept one — a ginger — and the two shown in the photo are being offered to reliable homes.
The little ones are now a month and a half old. According to Alexey, the kittens are sturdy, lively, and have excellent appetites. «They’re “forest-colored” — gray with speckles,» Alexey clarifies. «And they’re smart — like their mother, they quickly mastered the litter box.»

Earlier we reported that five one-month-old kittens were dumped at a dog shelter in Perm. The kittens were found to have a virus, but shelter staff began treating them.
