Krasnoyarsk's Top Dog Names Include Armani and Wagner

At the request of the NGS24.RU editorial board, veterinarian Yulia Zhemer from the Tsentrovet clinic analyzed and compiled a sample of names from 22,000 dogs in Krasnoyarsk.
According to Yulia, among female dogs in Krasnoyarsk, the most popular name is Bonya. It is given to more than 1,500 dogs.
«Next, with a very large gap, surprisingly, is Eva: about 800 dogs have this name. Then come Businka/Busya — about 500 dogs, followed by Basya, Monika, Molly, and Sonya: about 100 of each name. Mainly, such names are chosen for decorative breeds, of which there are now many — Pomeranian Spitz, Yorkshire Terrier, Pug, Maltipoo, Poodle. Among male »decorative« dogs, the most popular name is Archie/Archibald — 1,200 dogs. Then, with a small gap, come Richie and Richard: about 1,000 such,» — says Yulia Zhemer.
Then follow Ricky and Charlie — 900 of each name. With a significant gap, notes Yulia Zhemer, come the names Tim/Timofey, Malysh, and Bimo — about 400 dogs with such names in Krasnoyarsk. Boss lags a bit — 200 dogs. Shariki, Barbosy, and Rexy are the least numerous.
