Homeless Dog Leads Yakutia Woman to Puppy Den in Viral Video
After receiving food, the mother dog directed the rescuer to the den where her 12 puppies were hidden.
A resident of Yakutsk fed an abandoned dog, which then introduced her to its «husband» and led her to a den where they found 12 puppies. She recorded the entire rescue on video and is now rehoming the litter, as she shared on her social media.
It began when a dog entered the yard of her private home and was scavenging for food in the trash. The kind-hearted woman fed the dog, which then started urging her to follow and led her away. The video shows the dog repeatedly glancing back to ensure she was following, accompanied by what appeared to be the father of the puppies.
She didn«t go alone but brought companions, which was fortunate: they initially rescued five puppies from the den and later discovered the remaining ones.
Although the video went viral, only one of the 12 puppies has been rehomed so far. The parent dogs are also up for adoption. According to the woman, they were abandoned after the summer cottage season ended.
«If we hadn»t met, I dread to think how they would have survived the cold. The mother is a hero! She nursed the entire litter against all odds,« she wrote in her post.
