Anya Pokrov goes on safari
Volgograd blogger staged an extensive safari excursion during her Tanzania trip for wildlife photography.
Volgograd native Anya Pokrov — a blogger with a million-strong audience and a popular young performer — went on a safari during a trip to Tanzania. Notably — no animals were harmed during the safari.
Majestic elephants, rulers of the continent, calmly traverse and inspect their wide-ranging territories.
Hoping to photograph every member of the «big five» — elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard — the Volgograd blogger set off on a genuine safari. However, luck wasn’t entirely on her side — her camera captured elephants, zebras, giraffes, leopards and wildebeest. The safari continued until late evening. The abundance of animals roaming the vast African savannah struck her so strongly that she even cried out in excitement: «There are [so] many animals here».
The leopard showed no interest in the female hunters eager for its attention.
«We got 4/5 of the “big five”! We had a real photo hunt! We kept our eyes peeled for animals!» — she wrote on her personal social-media account.
Giraffes and wildebeest roam calmly, seemingly unconcerned by the tourists’ focused attention.
Last week, the blogger flew to spend the autumn in Zanzibar and showed off a luxurious hotel room with a view of the Indian Ocean. She expressed her feelings and thoughts about the trip on social media, declaring «I won at life.»
