Two Russians have gone missing in Egypt. Vladislav Revenko and Nikita Talanov flew from Yekaterinburg to Sharm el-Sheikh on January 21 and were supposed to return six days later but never boarded their flight.

«Vladislav Revenko and Nikita Talanov stopped making contact on January 26. My son was last online in the city of 6th of October (a city 20 kilometers southwest of Cairo — Ed.),» writes RIA Novosti citing Pavel Revenko, the father of one of the missing men.

From Sharm el-Sheikh, the young men took a bus to Cairo, after which Vladislav wrote to his father that he had checked into a hotel and everything was fine. Now there is no contact with the tourists.

The man noted that he has already received a response from Red Sea Airlines that both young men did not take their scheduled flight.

Earlier, a Russian tourist vacationing in Thailand went missing while swimming off the coast of Phuket. The man was swimming with friends at Nai Thon Beach. A strong wave suddenly swept in and pulled him underwater. He did not resurface. Rescue operations were organized at the scene.

Also recently, a Russian photo model was kidnapped in Myanmar. The girl ended up in slavery, and now a large ransom is being demanded for her release.
