Personal Review of the TECNO MEGAPAD Pro Tablet
The TECNO MEGAPAD Pro tablet appeared on the Russian market at the end of last year. The device stands out for its thin body, large display, and support for artificial intelligence. It can be considered as an alternative to a laptop for a number of everyday tasks.
Weight and Design
The first thing you notice when getting acquainted with the gadget is its ergonomics. The tablet weighs only 547 grams (1.2 lbs) with a thickness of 6.99 millimeters. Thanks to these parameters, the device is convenient to take on trips or to work. The package includes a charger, a SIM card key, and an instruction manual.
Screen and Battery Life
The 10,000 mAh battery provides up to 8 hours of work without recharging. The 12-inch 2K screen allows you to comfortably work with texts, watch videos, and use various applications. The Dolby Atmos sound system gives the audio a surround sound.
AI Assistant and Smart Features
The device starts up quickly and has an intuitive interface. Its key feature is the intelligent assistant Ella, which is activated by voice or by pressing a special button. The assistant works on the basis of TECNO«s own AI language model, but also supports the open-source DeepSeek model.
Artificial intelligence is not only used in Ella: the built-in editor can rewrite texts in different styles, there is an on-screen translator, and a function for transcribing recordings from a voice recorder.
Multitasking and Moisture Resistance
The tablet supports split-screen for working with two applications simultaneously, and also allows opening additional windows in floating window mode. This is convenient when, for example, you need to write text, search for information in a browser, and respond in a messenger.
The screen correctly responds to touches even with wet fingers, which can be useful in everyday situations.
TECNO Ecosystem
The MEGAPAD Pro is compatible with other devices of the brand. It can be used as a second screen for a laptop or to display content from a smartphone. The proprietary «Exchange without Internet» function provides wireless file transfer between gadgets.
Charity Campaign
Part of the proceeds from the tablet sales goes to the «Yuna» rehabilitation center for temporarily homeless animals. The company used the Ella assistant to create promotional videos where pets interact with digital content to draw attention to the problem of homeless animals.
