Warmth finally coming to Yekaterinburg, but slowly

Forecasters predict a gradual rise in temperatures across the Urals region this week.
The upcoming week in Sverdlovsk Oblast is expected to be moderately cold on average. This was reported by Alexei Puling, author of the Telegram channel «Weather in Yekaterinburg». According to his data, the lowest temperatures are forecast for the beginning of the week.
«On Monday, Sverdlovsk Oblast will still be located on the northern periphery of a ridge of high atmospheric pressure, connecting the anticyclone over the Volga region with the Siberian High. An arctic air mass will still be present in the region,» said Alexei Puling.
Warming will come to the Urals quite slowly: its peak will be on Thursday-Friday, after which another cold snap will begin. Moreover, snowfalls will return to Sverdlovsk Oblast.
