Snow and Rain Forecast for Rostov in Early February

The above-freezing weather of late January will be replaced by another wave of frosts in Rostov, synopticians warn. Snowfalls and rains are forecast for the city.

The work week in February will start with a cold snap. Daytime air temperatures on average will be -8…-10 °C (17.6…14 °F). In the evenings, expect -14…-16 °C (6.8…3.2 °F). Moreover, on some nights it will be -18 °C (-0.4 °F). By the next weekend, it will become warmer. Temperatures will drop to +1…+2 °C (33.8…35.6 °F).

The weather will be cloudy. On Monday, February 2, snowfall and even a blizzard are forecast. Rain and wet snow will cover Rostov by the next weekend. On the roads, black ice and snowdrifts are possible.

«The wind is north-westerly and northerly, shifting to north-easterly at 7–12 m/s, with gusts up to 15 m/s during the day,» according to the bulletin from the Hydrometeorological Center.
