In Tula Oblast on Tuesday, January 27, a sharp deterioration in weather conditions is expected, related to a cyclone arriving in central Russia. This was reported by the press service of Avtodor (the Russian road agency).
The bad weather will most strongly affect Moscow Oblast. Poor weather conditions are also expected in the neighboring Kaluga Oblast.
Tula residents are warned that on Tuesday, heavy snowfall, reduced visibility, and snowpack formation are expected.
Due to the upcoming bad weather, Tula drivers are asked to obey traffic rules, avoid sudden maneuvers like overtaking, and maintain distance from other vehicles. Additionally, it is better to drive at a speed below the permitted limit and show increased attentiveness on the roads. If possible, it is better to avoid long trips.
Pedestrians are also advised to wear clothing with reflective elements and cross the road at illuminated sections.
Presumably, the weather warning will be in effect until the end of the day.
