In Krasnodar on the morning of January 26, everything was again covered with a thin layer of ice: the rain that fell the day before, combined with night frosts, formed an icy crust on roads and sidewalks. It is slippery on the roadway today—this is the strongest ice since the beginning of the year, drivers reported.
According to leading specialist Mikhail Leus from Fobos, the krai«s territory will today come under the influence of an intermediate ridge of an anticyclone, filled with cold air masses. It is moving from the northeast: the likelihood of precipitation will decrease. However, roads and sidewalks will remain slippery.
The air temperature on January 26 will be 0 to -2 °C (32 to 28 °F), with an east wind of 5-10 meters per second. Atmospheric pressure will be 760 mm Hg—above normal.
Tomorrow, January 27, will be slightly warmer: during the day, the air will warm up to +1 to +3 °C (34 to 37 °F).
