Snowfall Halts Exit from Ryazan

Readers describe the city exit as completely blocked by the snowfall.
Due to the snowfall that hit Ryazan this morning and continued all day, the M-5 highway came to a standstill on the approach to the regional center.
As reported by a reader of YA62.RU, hundreds of cars lined up on the road near the Marco Mall shopping center, unable to leave the city.
The unrelenting snowfall caused a traffic collapse in Ryazan on the evening of January 29. By 6 p.m., traffic jams reached the maximum score of ten points. The situation was particularly severe on Tsiolkovsky, Zubkova, Ostrovsky, and Chkalov streets, as well as on both highways—Ryazhskoye and Moskovskoye—where accidents occurred.
At the time of publication, services showed a congestion level of 7 points.
