Several electric trains canceled and reduced in Voronezh region

Dozens of suburban trains operating in the Chernozemye regions will undergo changes starting February 1. Some electric trains will be canceled, others reduced, and some will have their frequency altered. This was reported by the passenger company «Chernozemye».

Thirteen trains will be canceled, and six will be reduced. Three will have their schedules changed, and another 11 will have their frequency altered. The full list of innovations can be seen below.
In Voronezh region, the cost of travel on electric trains increased from January 1. The first 10 kilometers of the journey rose from 29.2 rubles (about $0.31 at current rates) to 32 rubles 10 kopecks (about $0.34). Each subsequent kilometer costs 3 rubles 21 kopecks (about $0.034) instead of 2.92 rubles (about $0.031). On average, prices increased by 10%.
Recall that in the middle of the year, an increase in the cost of public transport trips is also expected in Voronezh and the region. This will now occur annually.
