It is particularly crowded right now at the VDNKh metro station. As one of the passengers shared with the editorial office, this number of people is an anomaly. In the photo she sent, you can see Muscovites crowding while waiting for a train.

«A lot of people for this station, and in the cars too, not everyone managed to get in,» the passenger shares.

A similar situation has developed on the red line of the metro. Another passenger noted a large accumulation of people in the direction toward the center. The Muscovite is sure that because of the weather, many motorists decided to switch from warm cars to the metro.

«The red line toward the center — unusually many people in the cars. Everyone switched from cars to the metro. Plus, the previous train passed without stopping,» she clarified to an MSK1.RU correspondent.

Meanwhile, the metro«s press service clarified that train movement on the line is operating as usual.

On Moscow«s roads, there are now continuous traffic jams. A powerful snowfall is to blame. City residents are stuck waiting for buses for hours. The Department of Transport has been asking Muscovites for the second day to use only public transport.
