Driver rescued after Volga stalls on Sverdlovsk highway in freezing weather

Sverdlovsk traffic police inspectors rescued a driver who stalled on the highway in the cold. They noticed a Volga with its hazard lights on on the shoulder while patrolling the road.
«The 64-year-old driver reported that the vehicle was not drivable due to a technical engine malfunction caused by low temperatures,» said the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sverdlovsk Oblast.
Traffic police officers Andrey Novikov and Sergey Bronnikov towed the car to the nearest city — Tavda.
According to weather forecasters, in the coming days the region will again be hit by 30-degree frosts (-22°F).
