Dangerous road section sags at Perm intersection
A depression resembling a half-pothole and half-rut has formed on the road surface.
Today, 27 January 2026, during the day, Perm drivers discovered dangerous subsidence of the road near the intersection of Ostrovsky and 1st Krasnoarmeyskaya streets. We explain why it happened and when the road will be repaired.
Those who often drive along Ostrovsky Street remember that repair work on heating mains was underway at this intersection a week ago. When the repairs were completed, concrete slabs were laid on top to allow vehicle passage. It turned out that one of the slabs has subsided.
«After a week, the slab settled slightly,» a spokesperson for the company T Plus commented to 59.RU. «The site has already been handed over to the contractor. Tomorrow, they will perform backfilling and restoration of the slabs. Today, barriers have been installed.»
