Flight Attendant from Tyumen Advances to Semifinal of Prestigious Contest

20-year-old Marina Pakhniy, originally from Chelyabinsk but working in Tyumen, has successfully passed the selection stages. She has been working at UTair since 2025 and considers her profession her life«s work, a source of pride and inspiration. She calls the airplane her second home and sees the competition as an opportunity for professional growth, not hiding her love for healthy competition.
The decision to tie her life to the sky did not come by chance. It all started with family travels, and a skydiving jump on her 18th birthday finally convinced her of the right choice.
The «Top Stewardesses 12» competition includes several stages:
- Submission of applications and casting (the next in-person one will be on February 12 in Moscow).
- Active phase: publications in media, interviews, photoshoots, participation in events and charitable projects.
- Semifinal, which 30 girls will advance to, is scheduled for mid-September 2026.
- The final part will take place in November 2026.
Another representative from Tyumen is also competing for the title — 32-year-old Yekaterina Lyakhova. Before her aviation career, she worked in tourism and lived in the USA, Turkey, and South Korea, and now she does not limit herself only to flight attendant duties.
