Arkhangelsk contestants vie for Miss Office prize

More than 120 semifinalists compete nationwide, with 30 contestants advancing to the final.
Three beauties from Arkhangelsk are vying for victory in the international beauty pageant «Miss Office — 2025». The top prize is ₽3 million (about $30,000 at current rates). To reach the final, they need to win the online vote, which will run from 15 September to 5 October. Here’s who from the North is competing for the prize.
This year’s theme is «Folk Art and Traditions».
Ksenia Platonova

Ksenia Platonova is 27 years old and works at Titan Group.
Ksenia works at Titan Group of Companies (GK Titan).
— «My job involves frequent business trips through picturesque forests and logging sites scattered across Arkhangelsk Oblast. Over the past three years I’ve visited many villages, settlements, townships, and cities in our region, and that ties directly into this season’s theme. I cannot ignore the recent population outflow, and seeing abandoned villages makes me deeply concerned. It’s important to me to tell people about our oblast and present it so that even in the most remote corners people will want to stay. I sincerely want our land to prosper and develop. I live and work here — my parents, my child are here… I don’t want to leave and don’t plan to, which means we need to find ways to support our region’s development», said Ksenia.
She also shared what is the most difficult part of the pageant for her.
— «We live in an era of ultra-short videos and beautiful, aesthetic photos. The hardest thing for me is presenting everything properly and catching the viewer’s eye. Just yesterday I ran into this challenge while piecing my video together. It turns out my main difficulty is attracting an audience. For now I’m experimenting with different approaches and ideas — I think the results will be noticeable, or not, later», Ksenia said.

She often travels across Arkhangelsk Oblast for work, visiting remote forest districts.
Veronika Smolyakova

The pageant’s annual online vote determines who advances to the televised final.
Veronika is 21, born and raised in Arkhangelsk. She graduated from Northern (Arctic) Federal University (NArFU) and works as a sales manager at Dinamika auto holding (avtokholding Dinamika) — among other things, she runs test drives and processes deals with clients.
«This year I received a bachelor’s degree in “law,” but I found myself in the car business — I adore cars and everything related to them», she says. «In our profession, the main thing is to earn a person’s trust and help them make a truly right choice».

Veronika Smolyakova works in auto sales and practices taekwondo in her spare time.
In her free time, the Arkhangelsk native practices taekwondo.
«I’m sure the main thing in life is not to lose your positive mindset. Sport has taught me to be hardworking and persistent. I know I’m doing what I love with the best team», Veronika says.
Anastasia Tulisova

Semifinalists traveled to Moscow for Komus’s company sports festival and networking events.
Anastasia Tulisova was born and raised in Arkhangelsk and graduated from Northern (Arctic) Federal University (NArFU) with a degree in «Landscape Design». She now works at the Storis events agency (Storis), organizing weddings.
«After my studies I moved to Norway, where I lived for three years and earned a bachelor’s degree. But my heart still pulled me home. I traveled a lot, but it was at home that I found myself again. Here I found a vocation I love — organizing events. It makes me truly happy. I like giving people emotions, creating a festive atmosphere, and helping couples turn important moments in their lives into vivid memories. For me it’s not just a profession but a source of inspiration», the Arkhangelsk resident told 29.RU.
Anastasia admits that taking part in a competition of this scale is a serious step and a kind of test.
«For me this is not just a beauty contest, but a path of self-discovery, courage, and moving forward. It’s a chance to step outside the familiar, show myself, and prove that everything is possible if you believe and love what you do».
In July, the «Miss Office» semifinalists were invited to Moscow for the Komus Spartakiad (company sports festival). There, Anastasia Tulisova met other contestants.
«Women came to Moscow from all over Russia — incredibly beautiful, kind, and friendly. We took part in a run and talked a lot. I was struck that there was no sense of competition among us; on the contrary, there was a warm, supportive atmosphere. And I really hope to befriend new contestants in the final and expand my geography of connections — such ties are priceless», she says.

Participants met past finalists, including 2024 winner Alexandra Epstein from Arkhangelsk.
This year’s theme is «Folk Art and Traditions». For the Arkhangelsk native, it has a special meaning.
«This summer I took part in the “White June” festival (arts festival) and was once again convinced of how rich in talent our northern region is. I’m inspired by master artisans creating unique handicrafts and by young designers who reconstruct the northern color in a contemporary key. I myself became part of one of these shows and felt an incredible sense of pride for our oblast».

Anastasia walked in a show featuring northern designers’ contemporary takes on regional motifs.
