Meteorologists forecast spring weather for Altai Krai

However, in districts bordering the Altai Republic, it will conversely be cooler than usual — one degree below the long-term average.

In the regional capital, Barnaul, the average monthly temperature in February is typically around -13.6°C (7.5°F).

What the weather will be like in March in Altai Krai

In March, some districts may see temperatures one degree colder. Forecasters predict warmer-than-usual weather in the north of the krai, while southern districts may experience a slight cooling. The average monthly air temperature in Barnaul in March is around -5.7°C (21.7°F).

What the weather will be like in April in Altai Krai

April promises to be a truly spring-like month. According to the Hydrometcenter, air temperatures this month will be above the norm. Thermometer readings will rise by a degree or so above the usual values. For comparison, in Barnaul the average temperature in April typically hovers around +5°C (41°F).
