Zenit Extends Pedro's Contract Until 2030

Brazilian forward Pedro dos Santos will remain with St. Petersburg's Zenit for the long term. The club announced the extension of the agreement with the footballer until the end of the 2029/30 season.

The official announcement of the contract extension with the 18-year-old Brazilian was distributed by Zenit«s press service on January 27.
Pedro dos Santos was born on February 5, 2006, in Sao Paulo. He is a product of the Corinthians football academy. He started his sports career in futsal but switched entirely to classic football in 2016. In the Corinthians youth team, he won the Sao Paulo state championship for players under 17, after which he debuted in the club«s main squad. At the senior level in Brazil, he played 21 official matches and scored one goal.
The move to Zenit took place in January 2024. Since then, Pedro has played 76 matches for the St. Petersburg team in all tournaments, scoring 11 goals and providing 11 assists. As part of the blue-white-sky blues, he has already become a Russian champion, as well as winning the Cup and Supercup of the country.
The footballer is also an important player for the Brazilian youth national team. In the uniform of the national under-20 team, he has played 18 matches, scored four goals, and made eight assists. As part of it, he twice became the winner of the South American Championship.
