Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod crushes Shanghai Dragons for fifth straight win
The Torpedo hockey club from Nizhny Novgorod has secured multiple consecutive wins.
The Nizhny Novgorod hockey club Torpedo crushed the Shanghai Dragons, securing its fifth consecutive victory in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with a 7-2 win.
During the home match, goals were scored by Torpedo players Yegor Vinogradov, Yegor Sokolov, Amir Garaev, Vasily Atanasov, Vladimir Tkachev, Sergei Goncharuk, and Dmitry Shevchenko.
Torpedo won its fifth consecutive match and with 62 points holds fourth place in the Western Conference. Already tomorrow, January 24, the players will play at home against SKA from St. Petersburg.
The day before, former Torpedo goaltender Ivan Kulbakov wrote a post in which he bid farewell to the fans and the team. The athlete thanked the Nizhny Novgorod hockey club for the emotions, struggle, and support in difficult moments, and also wished it «victories, development, and a great future.»
