The Ufa hockey club Salavat Yulayev defeated Sochi on the road today, January 24. The match ended with a score of 1:2 in favor of the «greens».

Salavat took the lead in the second period with a goal by Jack Rodewald. In the third period, forward Sheldon Rempal scored another goal, doubling the advantage for the Ufa team. The hosts could only respond with one goal late in the game—scored by Daniil Seroukh.

Thus, after 49 rounds of the Continental Hockey League (KHL), Salavat Yulayev has earned 50 points and currently occupies sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Ufa team«s next match will be on January 26 in Minsk against the local Dinamo.
