The Ufa hockey club Salavat Yulaev defeated Sochi on the road today, January 24. The match ended with a score of 1:2 in favor of the «greens».

Salavat took the lead in the second period with Jack Rodewald. In the third period, forward Sheldon Rempal also scored, doubling the Ufa team«s advantage. The hosts could only respond with one goal at the end of the match — a goal by Danil Seroukh.

Thus, after 49 rounds of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), Salavat Yulaev has earned 50 points and currently occupies sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The next match for the Ufa team will be on January 26 in Minsk against the local Dynamo.
