How Yaroslavl's First CRT Project 'Tveritsy' is Changing Development Rules

A new stage in urban development has begun in Yaroslavl. The comprehensive territory development (CRT) format is replacing «spot development» of buildings, which struggle to find a place in the dense urban fabric. The first such project is the «Tveritsy» block in the historical part of Zavolzhye (the left bank of the Volga).

What is comprehensive territory development? Infrastructure no longer lags behind construction. Social facilities are created in unison with residential blocks, ensuring quality of life from the moment of move-in.

Concept of the New Block Beyond the Volga

The new «Tveritsy» block, covering 28 hectares (69 acres), is being built by the Goodgrad Nedvizhimost (Goodgrad Real Estate) group of companies. The developer is well known to Yaroslavl residents from the «Norskie Rezidentsii» and «Volga Life» projects.

The project involves the construction of 59 residential buildings of variable height — from 8 to 12 floors. The location was chosen with the city«s future development direction in mind: a new bridge across the Volga is being built just two kilometers (1.2 miles) away. It will change logistics: residents will get direct access to the M-8 highway and the ability to quickly reach Moscow or Kostroma, bypassing traffic jams in central Yaroslavl.
