Dozens of vacancies for police officers have been opened in the Tyumen region. According to official information, there is a shortage of personnel in the region«s law enforcement agencies.
“More than 60 specialists are needed for service. Candidates are promised salaries from 37,000 to 44,000 rubles (approximately $370–$440 at current rates). There are also 12 vacancies for ‘precinct officers.’ Their salary starts from almost 40,000 rubles (about $400) and can reach 54,000 rubles (about $540). Inspectors are also being sought for service. They are promised pay of up to 48,000 rubles (about $480),” according to the list from the relevant department.
The size of bonuses and additional payments is not specified in the published vacancies. According to unofficial data, both residents and some police officers confirm the personnel deficit in the department.
Separately, recruitment is underway for military personnel. They are offered wages in the range of 204,000 to 226,000 rubles (approximately $2,000–$2,300 at current rates) with the possibility of receiving other financial supplements and benefits.
