Workers of preschool institutions in the city of Asha, Chelyabinsk region, have complained about a salary delay. According to them, the situation affects several kindergartens.
On the social network VKontakte, they wrote to Governor Alexei Texler. Resident Svetlana said:
«Hello, Alexei Leonidovich. In our city of Asha, salaries for kindergarten workers have been delayed for a week. Payments for December 2025 were made at the end of December, before the New Year. The advance for January 2026 was supposed to be transferred on January 21st, today is already January 28th, and there is still no salary. Every day they promise, but no payments. I don»t know about teachers in schools, but in the city«s kindergartens, this is the situation today. Please help.»
In a conversation with journalists, Svetlana added that she is worried about her disabled husband, who works as a janitor at Kindergarten No. 17.
The Ministry of Education of the Chelyabinsk region confirmed the delay and explained its cause. Representatives of the department stated:
«The shift in funding deadlines is related to the re-registration of municipal settlement accounts that have transitioned from municipal districts to districts. Funding to the Asha municipal district was delivered in full on January 25–27, as soon as the necessary registration procedures were completed.»
The kindergarten administration warned employees about the late arrival of the advance. During the preparation of the material, the due payments were transferred to the workers.
