Yakut TV Presenter Allegedly Missing in UAE
Her social media account shows a final post from October 2025 with a friend in Dubai.
A presenter from a Yakut television channel has allegedly disappeared in the United Arab Emirates, according to social media reports. The editorial office of 14.RU sent a written request to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 26 to refute or confirm the information.
The journalist is a native of the village of Suntar in Suntar District. She hosted an entertainment-educational program called «Uonna...». She was also involved in athletics and represented her home ulus (district) in competitions.
On the TV presenter«s social media accounts, the last post was from October 21, 2025, showing her posing with a friend in Dubai. She previously actively maintained her account and posted photos from the UAE, Shanghai, and Egypt. Oleg Markov, general director of NVC »Sakha« (the national broadcaster of the Sakha Republic), told a 14.RU correspondent that the journalist worked for the company under a civil law contract.
«Just like you, I found out about this in a messenger app a few days ago. She worked as a program host under a civil law contract until May 30, 2025,» he said.
The republican apparatus of the human rights commissioner told a 14.RU correspondent that no appeals regarding the Yakut woman had been received.
