An investigation has been launched into an accident that led to the death of a worker in the Trans-Urals region. This was reported by the press service of the Interregional Labor Inspectorate for the Tyumen and Kurgan regions.
According to preliminary data, during the dismantling of a partition at the construction and installation company LLC «Don» in Shadrinsk, part of the brickwork collapsed. As a result, a worker at the enterprise died, sustaining multiple injuries.
Following the incident, inspectors will conduct an unscheduled inspection to determine the circumstances and causes of what happened, and will also provide a legal assessment of the employer«s actions.
The department reminds employers that it is their duty to ensure safe working conditions.
