According to the Stavropol Krai State Traffic Inspectorate, the accident occurred yesterday, January 19, at around 18:20 on 60 Let Oktyabrya Square in Svetlograd. The driver of a Chevrolet Niva was driving on a secondary road and did not give way to a Volkswagen Polo that was on the main road. As a result, the cars collided, and the woman driving the Niva was taken to Petrova Hospital.

It turned out that the victim is 40 years old and has more than 11 years of driving experience. Over the past two years, she has been held administratively liable once for violating traffic rules.

Law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation and establishing all the circumstances of the accident.

Recall that the day before in Stavropol, an accident occurred that once again makes one think about safety at pedestrian crossings. The driver of a VAZ-2109 car was driving on Sovetskoy Armii Street and hit a minor. The girl with injuries was taken to the hospital.
