Why missing Usoltsevs' son is accused of deception

The search base on Kuturchin served as a hub for rescuers during the extensive month-long operation.
The son of the missing Usoltsev family may be hiding something, and his friend believes that the spouses ran away. Such versions were voiced in the new episode of the program «Let Them Talk».
Among the guests was the friend of the son of the missing Irina and Sergey — Vladislav Mikhailovsky. The young man confidently stated that the Usoltsevs could not have disappeared accidentally in the taiga.
“I think that after all, they ran away, I«m sure of it. Rescuers couldn»t find them for a month, searched the taiga and there are no people there. At least animals would have scattered some things, backpacks, boots, but apparently there are no people there after all,” the guy reported.
As for the son of the missing family, Danila Batalov, he may be hiding something, according to profiler Alexander Petrov. He came to this conclusion after analyzing the previous episode of the program.

Vladislav Mikhailovsky expressed his conviction that the missing couple had deliberately fled.
According to the specialist, Batalov only engaged in discussions of versions that are beneficial to him.
“Danila either knows something and is very worried that it will be uncovered, or he absolutely doesn«t care about the fate of his relatives. Well, and he doesn»t care because, again, he knows the truth. In the interview, he showed the full spectrum of emotions, but in the studio, he only connected with working versions that are beneficial to him,” Petrov stated.
The television program featured a debate over the possible reasons for the disappearance.
NGS24.RU correspondent Alexey Taiganavt — an experienced traveler to hard-to-reach areas of Siberia — himself took part in the search for the missing family. He was also present in the studio and disagreed with the version that the Usoltsevs could have organized an escape in this way.
“This version that the respected guests are now expressing is a complete contradiction. That is, people want to disappear quietly and at the same time raise the biggest fuss that can be raised. This is absolutely illogical and contradicts common sense, especially since the person is a manager, he could have calculated the consequences. If they wanted to leave, to run away — they would have done it quietly,” Alexey stated.

Alexey Taiganavt contributed to the search efforts and disputed the escape theory on air.
NGS24.RU collects all versions of the Usoltsevs« disappearance, the background of their life, and details of the search in a separate story.
