On the Tura River in Tyumen, a tractor fell through the ice while clearing an area. According to a correspondent from 72.RU, no one was injured. The equipment was clearing the river in preparation for the annual event «Operation Ice,» which usually takes place in February.
The regional Emergency Ministry (EMERCOM) clarified that no reports of the incident were received. The Tyumen Oblast Emergency Response Service (TOERS) also did not receive any call.

Earlier, we reported on another incident. On the 500th kilometer of the Tyumen-Khanty-Mansiysk road, a tragedy occurred that claimed the lives of two people. This was reported by the press service of the Tyumen Oblast State Traffic Inspectorate. A truck and a passenger car with Khanty-Mansiysk license plates collided there. Preliminary reports indicate that the car drove into the oncoming lane. In the accident, the driver and passenger of a Lada were killed. Traffic on the highway is not restricted, but road conditions are currently very difficult — a snowfall is ongoing, causing poor visibility.
