‘They wrote three diagnoses.’ Ekaterinburg man dies after sudden coma in Turkey

In Turkey, without regaining consciousness, a 49-year-old legal assistant Alexey from Ekaterinburg has died. The man went on vacation with his common-law wife. On November 4, he was supposed to fly home, but at the airport he suddenly fell ill.
“All this time his condition was extremely serious. He was admitted with high blood pressure, and then his temperature rose to 40°C (104°F). Probably, he swam, sunbathed, and caught a cold, or perhaps contracted some infection. Doctors diagnosed pneumonia and put him into an induced coma. After a few weeks, we were already arranging with disaster medicine for transportation, but when they received the medical records, they said that they might not even get him to the airport,” explained Alexey«s mother.
In the coming days, the body of the deceased is to be transported to Ekaterinburg.
“Now we are struggling to bring him back from there, we«ve been running around for the second day, paying money for transportation, the insurance company has already spent everything on treatment,” added the mother. “The cause of death was pneumonia, the heart and kidneys failed. Doctors wrote three diagnoses. They did not perform an autopsy there, and we don»t want anything here.”
The editorial board of E1.RU expresses condolences to Alexey«s family.
Earlier, Alexey«s wife said that he never had serious health problems, only complaints of high blood pressure.
