As reported by the Telegram channel Baza, the teenager spilled the fuel right during the screening of the film “Now You See Me”. Police and security guards arrived at the scene, and the youth was quickly detained. The fire was extinguished before it could spread. Only a few seats were damaged.

«The father of the schoolboy who started the fire in “Aviapark” told “Baza” that the child might have been influenced by threats through phone games. On the same day, the parents reported the child«s disappearance to law enforcement agencies, as he had not been in contact for a long time», writes the Telegram channel.

In the morning, according to the parents« accounts, the teenager went to school as usual. However, by lunchtime, he returned — said that his stomach hurt. Then he left the house again.

«According to his [the father«s] words, he is a calm child, never had to be called to the principal»s office, studies well. The father says that the son spent a lot of time on his phone — mostly communicating with school friends on “Telegram”. According to the father, he himself would “not have thought” to take a canister. The parents had not noticed any signs that the son was becoming distant until today. According to “Baza”, the teenager bought the fuel at a gas station near the shopping center. The cost of the “operation” was 2000 rubles (approximately $33 at current rates)», reported the Telegram channel.

Now, law enforcement agencies are handling the case. The Savyolovskaya Interdistrict Prosecutor«s Office has taken control of establishing all the circumstances of the fire.
