According to preliminary information, the school bus driver chose an unsafe distance and crashed into a Toyota Passo driven by a 54-year-old woman.

At the time of the traffic accident, there were 11 children and an escort in the school bus, who were not injured. The driver of the Toyota was injured. The children were taken to their place of learning on another school bus, added the prosecutor«s office of Irkutsk Oblast.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Irkutsk Oblast has initiated a criminal case regarding the accident. Investigators are establishing the circumstances and causes of the incident.
