Stranger breaks woman's nose for rejecting kiss in Tyumen

A woman from Tyumen contacted the editorial office after a stranger attacked her on Farman Salmanov Street. On October 19 around 9 p.m., Daria was walking home from work. On the way, a man approached her with a question: “What, do you have nowhere to sleep? You have bags.” The girl says that the passerby was “decently dressed” and smelled slightly of alcohol.
“I answered him: ‘I just stopped by the store after work.’ And I continued walking forward towards home. He offered to walk me home, I refused. I answered without aggression, insults, or swear words. I told him: ‘My friend will meet me.’ Then he went ahead, I started walking slower so he would go further. He approached other girls,” Daria recounts.
Then, the Tyumen woman explains, the man went forward. The stranger first approached other girls, then spoke with Daria again.
“He asked: ‘Where do you live?’ I just pointed forward with my hand. He said he lives in the same direction. Suggested we go together. I refused again. He went ahead, then caught up with me. Asked my name, said where he lives. I didn’t feel threatened. I thought: ‘A drunk person, has no one to talk to,’ the Tyumen woman explains. — I thought he would turn away now, and that’s it. Then he says: ‘Can I kiss you?’ I lied and said I’m married.
Daria slowed down again so the man would be ahead.
“And then I didn’t understand what happened. I felt a blow, from the blow I fell to the ground. Darkness in my eyes. I tried to get up, and he hit me again. Then I realized I needed to save myself. I dropped the bags. Blood is flowing, the entire down jacket is covered in blood,” the girl recalls.
Daria ran towards the road screaming for help, where men with children were standing. They called an ambulance, the girl called her relatives. Her sister’s husband came to her aid. Meanwhile, the attacker managed to leave.

“With my sister’s husband, we went to the trauma department, then to the police. I was diagnosed with a closed nasal fracture with displacement, bruises, and hematomas,” Daria says.
Now the girl is at home with her daughter. She says she hasn’t been leaving the apartment yet.
The police continue to search for the attacker. There are no cameras in the place where the Tyumen woman was beaten.
“The report was received on October 19 around 10:30 p.m. A check has been appointed regarding this fact, the circumstances and the man’s identity are being established. After that, a legal assessment will be given,” 72.RU was told by the Tyumen Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Maxim, a Tyumen resident, heard Daria’s screams and tried to help her. He recounted this story.
Earlier we wrote that several drunk women attacked Tyumen resident Anastasia Arzhilovskaya. As the girl claims, she was kicked in the stomach, then knocked to the ground and kicked several times. All because of a remark about nighttime noise.
