Police and Rosgvardia (the Russian National Guard) have commented on the detention of men with a rifle on Gortvalda Street, 22. Yesterday, in front of passersby, law enforcement officers put them face down in the snow under machine gun barrels. It turned out that local residents, who they had frightened, had complained about the group.
There was no resistance from the detained individuals when they were arrested by Rosgvardia officers.

‘A message was received at the centralized security console that three young people were frightening passersby with a weapon. To establish all the circumstances, two patrols of the non-departmental security service were sent to the specified address, where the information was confirmed. Observing all precautions, Rosgvardia officers detained three young people and handed them over upon arrival to the police investigative-operational group,’ E1.RU was informed by the press service of the Rosgvardia Directorate.
Police confirmed that three people were delivered to them.
‘Items seized from the delivered citizens have been sent for examination. Regarding the incident, officers of the local police service of Department No. 11 are conducting an inspection, based on the results of which a justified decision will be made,’ the Yekaterinburg City Police Department reported.
According to preliminary data, the seized rifle may be a dummy, and the pistol — a gas one. Reports of shooting have not been confirmed yet.
