The body of an 11-year-old schoolgirl (name changed) was found on the morning of January 27 under the windows of a multi-story building in the Akademichesky district of Yekaterinburg.
Anatoly, the father of the deceased, stated: «While the investigation is ongoing, I won»t disclose anything yet, because there are more questions than answers. Now it«s only known that she fell from the balcony. Apparently, no one else was there besides her. She left a note, investigators seized it, I haven»t seen it.«
The man emphasized that his daughter never complained about life. According to him, she was a sociable and normal child at school, but at home spent a lot of time on her phone, actively using the internet.
«I don»t know if there were any warning signs, the only thing is she spent a lot of time online. Generally, she was quite normal, sociable, but with kids, classmates. And at home, she mostly spent time on her phone. No one watched what she was doing there, now her mobile has been seized by investigators,« added the father.
Earlier, the girl«s friends spoke about her quarrel with her mother shortly before the tragedy. Anatoly commented on this: »Of course, everyone has quarrels. Maybe recently they argued about something. But these are domestic matters, not some unresolvable conflicts, it wasn«t like they had a huge blow-up.»
Ksenia«s parents divorced three years ago, but the father constantly communicated with his daughter and participated in her life. »We are divorced from her mother, but my daughter was practically at my house every day, I live opposite. We regularly communicated. She was last with me from Saturday to Sunday. There were never any explicit statements or complaints from my daughter. She also never complained about school or classmates,« he concluded.
Neighbors described the family as prosperous and quiet, noting that the girl«s mother works as a psychologist. Classmates, however, reported that Ksenia often complained about life, declared depression, and in lessons gave examples with corpses.
Law enforcement agencies are considering the suicide version. After the incident, a note and phone left by the schoolgirl were found on the common balcony of the house.
