Missing Schoolgirl Found After Day-Long Disappearance
The schoolgirl who went missing on January 22 on Volochayevskaya Street has been found, according to the press service of the Investigative Committee.
The 14-year-old girl was found alive, and that is all that is known so far, the department clarified. It was reported that she left home around 3:00 PM the day before. Before disappearing, the girl had a dispute with her mother. She is from a well-off family and is not on any watch list.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added that the girl returned home on her own.
«My colleagues have gone to the address of her family»s residence to clarify all circumstances,« wrote the department»s representative Irina Volk.
On the same day, in the evening of January 22, in Krasnoyarsk, 14-year-old Nikolai Kaplya went missing from the cottage settlement Serebryany Bor. Media suggested that the children might have disappeared together, but the prosecutor«s office reported that these cases are not connected.

Meanwhile, three million rubles (approximately $33,300) went missing from the safes in the family«s home. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on kidnapping, and the prosecutor»s office has started an investigation. One version is that the teenager fell victim to fraudsters. The child recorded a video appeal to his father.
The boy«s father and sister suggested that the fraudsters who kidnapped the child are holding him in a rented premises. They asked landlords to check their properties.
