Man slashes colleague over VDV shirt in Volgograd stanitsa

The emergency situation unfolded in Suvodskaya, a stanitsa in the Dubovsky District of Volgograd Oblast.
In the Dubovsky District of Volgograd Oblast, a 31-year-old man stabbed his colleague at the workplace. He was angered that a Turkish man, who had never served in the military, wore a VDV (Russian Airborne Troops) striped shirt to work. Workers rushed to the scene after hearing the victim«s screams. He was taken to the hospital.
As a source familiar with the situation told V1.RU, the incident occurred on November 10 in the stanitsa of Suvodskaya at a company that grows grain crops.
“It happened in the morning, but all the workers were already on site. The attacker«s mother and father also work there. He called the colleague to another place. Workers heard screams and ran there… The victim was wearing a jacket, which saved him from deep wounds. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital. His condition is unknown,” the source says. “The attacker himself served in the VDV. His own brother was killed in the SVO (Special Military Operation). Workers say he is normal, calm, and nothing like this was observed before. The victim lives in another village and is a father of many children.”
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Volgograd Oblast informed V1.RU that the case has been registered with the police department.
“An inspection is being conducted, and based on its results, a procedural decision will be made,” the department clarified.
Journalists are seeking clarification on the victim«s condition from the regional health department, but after five hours, the press service of the department has not responded to the inquiry.
