Today at 07:11, a report was received about a fire in a five-story residential building at 6 Sovetskaya Street in Umba. The fire was extinguished by 07:54.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the fire that resulted in two fatalities in Umba.

In a first-floor apartment, a room was burned, and walls and ceilings were smoked in the hallway, kitchen, and second room. Five residents were evacuated from the upper floors. Two people died. The cause of the fire and the damage are being determined.

Recall that recently in Kola, a two-story non-residential building on Kamenny Ostrov Street caught fire, and rank 1-BIS was declared. The cause of the fire will be investigated by the prosecutor«s office.
