Fatal Crash in Murmansk Region: 4 Cars Collide, One Person Killed

In the Murmansk Region, a fatal crash occurred this morning at the 1272nd kilometer of the Kola highway, and the Monchegorsk prosecutor«s office has organized an investigation.

According to preliminary information, the driver of a Haval car entered the oncoming lane and collided with a Lada Granta, and then with a Ford Mondeo and a Gazelle. He was taken to the hospital with injuries. The driver of the Lada died.

— To coordinate the work of law enforcement agencies, Monchegorsk prosecutor Denis Julayev went to the scene. The establishment of the causes and circumstances of the incident is under control, — the prosecutor«s office said.

Recall that on January 14 in the Kola district, another fatal crash occurred: a passenger was injured, and the driver died at the scene.
