On the night of January 26, a fatal road traffic accident occurred on Vyborg Highway, which was captured by surveillance cameras.
The accident resulted in the death of the 20-year-old driver at the scene.
On the published footage, it can be seen how a Renault Logan, while attempting to overtake on the right, hits the shoulder and moves into the oncoming lane.
A Lexus, traveling in the left lane in the opposite direction, had no opportunity to avoid the collision, as another car was moving to its right.
According to information from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, the accident happened around midnight at the address: Vyborg Highway, house 447. The 20-year-old driver of the Renault Logan died at the scene.
