Readers of E1.RU reported that all visitors were evacuated from the ice rink on 1905 Square. People had to leave the venue area.
Representatives of the ice rink told E1.RU that the evacuation did indeed take place. A suspicious unattended item was found there. According to protocol, people needed to be moved to a safe place.
“Everything went quickly. The ice rink has already resumed operations,” the organizers said.
The city administration reported that everyone evacuated from the ice rink was given additional open-date invitations.
Previously, the ice rink on the square was closed due to abnormal cold. However, its opening was postponed due to abnormally warm weather — in early December, temperatures reached the freezing point (32°F). Therefore, the grand opening took place on December 21.
