Drones Approach Voronezh Region Again
An earlier drone alert was canceled after sirens warned of an imminent strike in Voronezh.
In Voronezh Region, the threat of a UAV attack has been announced again. This was reported by Governor Alexander Gusev on his Telegram channel.
The threat is in effect from 9:20 on January 27. The head of the region assured that air defense forces are ready to repel a possible attack.
«We ask the population to remain calm! If you are indoors: do not go outside, stay away from window openings, if possible, go to a room where there are no windows. If you are outdoors: enter the nearest building, entrance, parking lot, or underground passage. If you see a UAV — call 112 and immediately leave the area of its visibility,» recommend the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS).
The previous threat, which was in effect from 6:15, was canceled at 7:58. At 6:51 in Voronezh, sirens sounded — an immediate threat of a strike was announced. After that, the governor reported that one drone was shot down on approach to the city. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties or damage.
Update. The all-clear for drone attack threats in the region was given at 18:11. Whether any drones were shot down, Governor Alexander Gusev did not report.
