Drone Attack Caused Night Explosion in Voronezh Oblast

The UAV attack danger, which was announced in the region on January 23 at 14:28, was canceled on the morning of January 24 — at 06:12. Thus, it lasted almost 16 hours. During this time, due to the threat of direct drone strikes, alert sirens were activated in the Liskinsky, Rossoshansky, and Ostrogozhsky districts, as well as in Borisoglebsk.
The day before at 16:49, Governor Alexander Gusev reported that a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed in the sky over one of the districts — preliminarily, there were no casualties or damage. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) did not cease attempts to strike Voronezh Oblast. After the all-clear was given, the head of the region reported that at night, air defense forces eliminated another Ukrainian drone — it was also shot down in the sky over one of the districts, according to preliminary information, with no casualties or damage. At the time of publication, the operational situation is calm.
Earlier, Voronezh1.ru wrote that Voronezh Oblast has become one of the regions most frequently subjected to AFU attacks. In total, in Russia since the beginning of the year, as a result of these attacks, more than 220 civilians have been affected, more than fifty of them have died.
