A fatal car crash occurred on the morning of January 29 on Vidova Street in Novorossiysk.

According to preliminary data, a 43-year-old driver of a Lada Kalina crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a BMW. The driver of the Russian-made car died at the scene.
His wife and child, as well as a passenger in the foreign car, were injured and taken to the hospital.
Rescuers were called to the scene. As reported by the Novorossiysk rescue service, the body of the deceased driver was extracted from the car using hydraulic tools.
The circumstances of the crash are being clarified, according to the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
