In Plavsk, Tula Region, an investigation has been launched following reports of stray dogs attacking people and domestic animals. The information was received by the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) regional directorate for Tula Region via electronic communication channels — residents have complained about increasing cases of aggressive animal behavior.

According to citizen reports, several episodes have been recorded in the city where people have suffered injuries from dog bites. Attacks on pets have also been reported. Local residents have expressed concern that the situation is becoming dangerous.

The head of the regional investigative directorate, Vladimir Vladimirovich Usov, has instructed his subordinates to open a criminal case. As part of the investigation, investigators must establish all the circumstances of what happened and also assess the actions of the responsible services. The head of the directorate has taken personal control over the progress of the investigation.
