Conductor Leaves Child in Cold After Missing Train Stop

The child was left on the platform in Zabaykalsky Krai, far from his intended destination.
A conductor left a child in the cold from the Vladivostok-Moscow train at Karymskaya Station on the Zabaykalsky Railway after he missed his stop in Shilka. This was reported on January 28 in the Telegram channels of the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor«s Office and the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Later it became known that the 16-year-old teenager was on his way to college and fell asleep.
“The conductor put him out in the cold, didn«t ask if he had money, if he could buy a ticket, find the station,” said the child»s mother, a resident of Mogocha, in a video by investigators.
Meanwhile, the distance from Karymskaya Station to Shilka Station is 151 kilometers (about 94 miles).
A pre-investigation check has now been organized on signs of a crime under Article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements for the life or health of consumers).
